Annabel Karmel’s Tips on Failure

Having success in your business and home life can be difficult to balance. One woman has a few thoughts on how to have a successful startup, happy home life, and dealing with failure.

If you want someone to look to for a boost of confidence, Annabel Karmel will definitely inspire you. She juggles being a business woman and a mother quite seamlessly. Her baby food empire has grown and she shows no signs of slowing down. But it wasn’t all success for Karmel.

She stated:

“Failure is not a bad thing. The opposite of success is not failure, it’s not trying. That’s what sets entrepreneurs apart. No one wanted to take my book, I was a nobody. But I refused to give up. Competence is important to be an entrepreneur, but so is confidence, the ability to bounce back from rejection, dust yourself off and say right, where to now. Women are good at that.”
