April 6th, 2016 - by Alyssa Shea

JK Rowling has never been one to shy away from her past failures. In fact, she recently shared some of her rejection letters she received while publishing under her alter ego, Robert Galbraith.

Rowling posted the letters on her Twitter account after receiving a request from a fan. These letters came from when she was attempting to publish The Cuckoo’s Calling. But this isn’t the first time that she was rejected. Almost everyone knows it took Rowling years to finally see her Harry Potter books see success.

Rowling stated:

“I had nothing to lose and sometimes that makes you brave enough to try.”

Sometimes, failure can lead to success!
