Success Comes When You Embrace Failure

May 30th, 2016 - by Alyssa Shea

Most of us have failed at something at least once in our lives. ScrollBuzz Assistant Editor, Cinthya Rubio, discusses her thoughts on failure and how it shaped her.

We all put pressure on ourselves to succeed. Rubio missed graduating with her high school class and thought that meant she was a disappointment to not only herself but her family. Over time, she learned that failure doesn’t doom you.

“I learned that each of us determine what failure is. For so long, I thought that failing was when you do not succeed the first time at what you are trying to accomplish. You can use failure to succeed!
