Failure Teaches You A Lesson

September 19th, 2016 - by Alyssa Shea

Ibukun Awosika, Co-Founder of Women in Business, Management, and Public Service (WIMBIZ), spoke to the Valectory Service of Year 12 graduates of the school and gave out some great advice. It’s okay to fail!

What she wanted the class to take away from her speech was to be fearless. Awosika spoke to the graduates and stated:

“Your parents may have achieved much, but you are expected to achieve much more. It’s not about money but doing great and relevant things that can change your life. Whatever position you find yourself; be yourself and make the best out of it. Failure has lessons that success can never teach. When you fail, all you need do is review the circumstances of your failure and continue with your journey of life.”

Sometimes, failure is your greatest teacher!
