A Reverse April Fool’s Day

September 19th, 2017 - by Alyssa Shea

How would you like to get a brand new car all because you showed up with the advert and your trade-in at the dealership? Sounds too good to be true, right?

Most people in the New Zealand community thought so, too, seeing as how it was titled “April Fool’s Day Special” in the newspaper. But Tianna Marsh decided, why not try? Why not show up and see?

The advert “definitely appeared too good to be true”, says BMW spokesman Ed Finn. “We wanted to turn the tables and reward the first person who was willing to take the chance.”

Marsh parked her old station wagon right in front of the dealership and was rewarded with a brand new BMW worth $37,000! The dealer put a license plate reading “NOF00L” which added to the cheekiness of the story. Sometimes something that seems unbelievable can be very rewarding!
